One of the most popular patisseries in Tokyo: Dominique Ansel Bakery

Check out this video to see all the amazing stuff you can savor at the Dominique Ansel Bakery!
Created on the concept of a “New Generation Bakery”, the Dominique Ansel Bakery delivers freshly baked delicacies directly to its customers. With regular updates to the menu, this bakery truly pushes the boundaries of combining conventional baking and innovation.
No matter when you visit, you are bound to see it bustling with dessert lovers. This time, we tried three of the most popular and best-selling desserts.

Recommended: FROZEN S'MORE™

A marshmallow filled with ice cream and lightly torched reminding you of a BBQ. This is without a doubt a flavor explosion and your mind is surprised at how the charring adds to the deliciousness.
The concept of this dessert is to remind you of all the times you lightly grilled marshmallows at barbecues as a kid. The inside is still soft, the marshmallow still gooey and the chocolate crumbs adding a bit of crunch.

COOKIE SHOT™

One of the most common aspects of snacking in the USA is having cookies dipped in milk. To recreate this feeling, Dominique Ansel came up with "Cookie Shot." The cookie is shaped like a shot glass and is topped with milk before serving.
The cookie is crispy with an intense chocolate flavor that is nicely interjected by the vanilla-flavored milk.

Lychee Rose Mousse Cake

Recreating a lychee, the outside is made from chocolate and sprinkled with rose powder. The lychee mousse has tones of sweet and sour.
The white mousse in the middle is lychee flavored and packed with five types of berries and lychee. The bottom is lined with a chocolate crispy rice and crunchy macadamia. The bitterness of chocolate teams perfectly with the tartness of berries and the sweetness of the lychee.
