Sagami Illumillion: Beautiful Illumination at Sagamiko in Kanagawa

What winter activities can you enjoy in Japan besides those related to snow? If you're not into snow sports, then how about checking out the many illuminations that create warmth throughout the country? Illuminations are usually held over a period of three months starting from early December all the way to February. A popular activity among couples, today we introduce Sagamiko Illumillion, which is one of the three big illuminations in the Kanto area!

Sagamiko Resort Pleasure Forest

Sagamiko Resort Pleasure Forest is an amusement park in Sagamiko, Kanagawa, and one of the most popular attractions here is Muscle Monster! You can climb along a long wooden track at a height of approximately 370 meters!

You can find Paddington bears in Paddington Town, an amusement park for all ages where small children can enjoy exciting and funny attractions with Paddington bear themes!

Paddington Bear stands near the Christmas tree to do a countdown and turn on all the lights! About 6 million lights are used as decorations for this attraction!

'Illumillion Tree'

Near this main Christmas tree, there are many shops. You can buy food and drinks and enjoy it while seeing this beautiful illumination. We bought a serving of hot chocolate milk filled with soft and sweet marshmallows.

This attraction is themed "light jewelry box" that uses approximately 500 thousand LED lights is very beautiful and illuminates this area with colorful lights.

The most popular attraction of this illumination is rainbow lift, where you can sit on a 250-meter high elevator while enjoying a rainbow-colored illumination.

You will find the Ferris Wheel illuminated with these sparkling lights, which is certainly very beautiful.

Paddington Town is filled with sparkling light.
