✾Cosmos Flower View and Tokyo Tower in Shiba Park✾
Shiba Park (芝公園), is one of the oldest parks in Japan that was built in 1872 (Meiji Era). The park has various types of flowers that bloom through the year as well as several species of trees. Each season offers a wonderful view. It also has a sports field. But what makes this park really special are the absolutely stunning views of the Tokyo Tower. In fall, you can take pictures of the autumnal foliage and Tokyo Tower. But what many people flock to see are the dainty cosmos dancing in the wind in November. Usually this flower blooms in early autumn, and the timing for this varies each year depending on how long summer lasts. Last year the summer in Japan ended around the end of September, and the change between summer and autumn started after that, so the cosmos flowers last year bloomed later than usual. The flowers symbolize innocence, harmony and gentleness. Inside this park, there is also Taitoku Inreibyo (台徳院霊廟), where you can see the traditional beauty of Japan while enjoying the colors of autumn. Zojoji temple's main gate is a sight you will never forget when you visit this park from Daimon Station.Shiba Park (芝公園)
