A brand new interactive digital artwork exhibition, OCEAN BY NAKED Light exhibition of the Deep Sea (OCEAN BY NAKED 光の深海展), opened at Asobuild in Yokohama this October.
Located on the 2nd floor of Asobuild, this exhibition features over 100 different species of sea creatures, giving guests the opportunities to see and interact with them in this light aquarium.
Follow this feature to take a stroll through this immersive underwater light attraction!
Divided into 8 different areas, each area offers a delighting exhibit with different theme.
You can see, touch, and play with these lights, yes, we're living in an era where digital artworks are touchable!
The first area "To the Sea", an entry corridor to the deep sea, featuring waterfalls and bright digital projections.
The second area is "Fluid Wall", where you can interact with the lights by swirling the paints on the walls and watch them bubble into colorful jellyfish that float away.
Keep swirling them with your hand to see a change!
Next is "Shoal of Shadows", where you can see groups of sardines swimming and playing on the walls. The shadow projector here turns your shadow into a fish head and follows your moves. The fish come in 4 different colors, and this time the shadow projector turned one of our heads into a goofy yellow fish.
"Into the Deep", an interactive area where you can see the mystical underwater world of 6,500 meters will lead you into the main attraction hall of "Paradise". In "Paradise" you'll find a lot of things to play with. From a light-mapped sandbox with critters for you to "dig". Yes, when you step on the critters, you'll see rays, crabs, starfish, and other sea creatures pop out; children will love this area!
The texture of the sand is very fine and soft. What a fun experience!
There is also a spectacular digital art show to watch.
A beautiful illuminated sea show, where you can see big sea creatures like whale swimming around through this fantasy show.
You can walk through an immersive tunnel of crashing waves at "Surf 'n' Reef". You don't want to miss this if you love mystery.
After the exhibition, there's one more stop to make: the "Secret Beach" shop.
