Nyanpaku Cat Expo: a heaven for all cat lovers!

Last Saturday, December 21, we went to Nyanpaku Cat Expo; an event featuring a full lineup of talks and lectures related to cats conducted cat specialists, a gallery of 300 extremely adorable cat photos, art exhibition from Japanese cat-themed picture book "Namae no Nai Neko" (なまえのないねこ, A Cat Without A Name), and of course, a marketplace selling goods for cats and cat-themed fashion items.
Instead of focusing on the talks and lectures, this feature will focus more on the cat photo gallery and exhibition, and if you love cats, you should never miss this!
See what this cat is hugging while it's sleeping! A slice of salmon fillet! This cat's name is Mugi.
This cat is too cute to be true! Her name is Nyaomi!
A series of cat pictures sticking their tongues out! You know that cats love sticking their tongues out, and they look silly, but adorable when doing that!
This little cat is sleeping like a baby! So cute and squeezable!
A cat on a dining table! The title says: "Even a dining table can be my bed! Meow!"
Another cat sleeping like a baby! At this exhibition you'll find many pictures of sleeping cats, and they're extremely adorable!
This cat is yawning like a boss!
One of our favorites! This cat is sleeping in front of a sento (public bath).
The art exhibition of Namae no Nai Neko features many cat paintings, and this one is our favorite!
There are many cat-themed merchandises to purchase from this exhibition, but our favorite is this canvas tote bag!
The exhibition we visited was held at Shin-Ochanomizu Building in Tokyo from December 21 to 22, 2019. Another exhibition will be held at the Daimaru Museum in Umeda, Tokyo from February 16 to 24, 2020. For more information about the event, see below.
