Asakusa Hanayashiki was founded as a botanical garden in 1853 and converted to an amusement park later on. That is why, there are a lot of plants and flowers that remind us of a botanical garden. It is the oldest amusement park in Japan and still attracts many tourists. Their roller coaster is also the oldest in Japan. It is so old that you will be thrilled with terror that it might break down at any moment. This is an exprience very unique to this place. Its nostalgic atmosphere goes with the overall mood in Asakusa.

Oldest Roller Coaster in Japan

The roller coaster is more than 50 years old and definitely the oldest in Japan. Children taller than 110 cm can take a ride on this roller coaster. Enjoy the ride with your children. It is strangely exciting as you sit in this old roller coaster with a wee bit of fear that it can suddenly break down and stop anytime while you go through buildings.

Space Shot

Space Shot takes you up to a height of 60 meters which is higher than Bee Tower. Besides you remain at a sitting position when you go up and it is extremely thrilling. You can enjoy an unobstructed view of Asakusa. People enjoy Bee Tower with their friends and family while they enjoy Space Shot by themselves.
