The boat tour should not be missed when visiting Geibikei. As the valley of Geibikei is especially deep with steep cliff walls, the best way to appreciate the fascinating view is from a row boat. From December to February, a boat called "kotatsu-bune (kotatsu-boat)" is used, in which visitors can get under the Japanese heated blanket table and have this region's specialty hot pot while looking at the view.

After about 30 minutes on the row boat, a tall flat rock of about 124 meters in height appears. In this rock called Daigeibi-iwa, there is a whole in one spot, into which you can try throwing "luck balls" and if you hit, your wish will supposedly come true.

Giant rocks pile on top of each other in Geibikei. In one of those rocks, there is a 5-meter-wide and 30-meter-deep limestone cave called Bishamon Cave. Buddhist deity Bishamonten, a protector of fortune, is enshrined inside this cave and it has become one of Geibikei's power spots.
