Inazumi Underwater Limestone Cave was formed 300 million years ago, and it went under water by a large volcanic eruption 300,000 years ago. Inside the limestone cave appears the mystical world with myriads of stalactites and coral stones as well as a beautiful spring in emerald green. You can walk around inside this beautiful cave. Although it is still under survey, it is at least 1 km long judging from what we know so far. It is the longest underwater limestone cave in Japan.

Hakusan River: One of the 100 Exquisite and Well-Conserved Waters

The spring water in limestone cave is the penetrated water of Hakusan River. Hakusan River is well known as a clear stream and also listed as one of the 100 Exquisite and Well-Conserved Waters. People enjoy the view of fireflies flying around in early summer as well as the view of bright red and yellow leaves in autumn.
