Situated at about 40 min on foot from Iwakuni Castle, there is a beautiful wooden arched bridge on Nishikigawa. It is one of the most magnificent bridgesin Japan. This is the unique bridge that is made of five arches. Measuring 193.3 m long and 5 m wide, it is in fact a sister bridge of Kinki bridge on the West lake in Hangzhou in China since 2004.

You can observe these white snakes at the bottom of Iwakuni Castle. In addition to their white body, they has mesmerizing red eyes. These beautiful snakes are harmless and not poisonous.
