Kanmon Kaikyo Fireworks (Shimonoseki side)

The event takes place on both banks of the Kannon Straits, branching Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi and Moji-ku, Kitakyushu-shi, Fukuoka. Fireworks are launched in a row from an off-shore platform that is 300m away from the coast. There are more than 15,000 fireworks at both banks and the venue receives about a million visitors every year.
