The only primeval forest of beech trees in the prefecture can be found on Mt. Otakiyama (elevation of 946m), and beautiful autumn foliage can be seen here. There are well maintained facilities like Otakiyama Ikoinomori Camp Ground and Okunoyu Koen Camp Ground in the mountains as well.
