Unzen

In Unzen, there are over 120 species of plants that turn colors in the fall. At the end of October, autumn brings an amazing display of foliage around Unzen. The area is designated as a national treasure (Fugendake Koyo Jurin), and the view from the peak of Mt. Kunimi is especially breathtaking.
