There is a Ginkgo tree called Matchmaking Ginkgo Tree. One ginkgo tree was planted by the local residents while another one was planted just next to it by the Shinto priest. Two trees gradually got closer as if they snuggle against each other and finally united into one tree. It is now known as a matchmaking tree. It is believed that you will find a good match if you touch this tree and clap your hands in prayer.
