Planetarium Starball
Starball is a dome, 6 m in diameter, that uses a state of the art projector to display approximately 5 million stars on its ceiling. Visitors to the planetarium can enjoy the beautiful view that seems to stretch back and spread out into the sky, just like the real thing. How about comparing the view here, with that of the star-filled night sky seen from the mountain's observatory deck? There is also an impressive 3D movie area.

Ropeway
You can take in the view of the forests covering Mount Moiwa, Sapporo, and even as far as Ishikari Bay, through the large glass windows of the ropeway gondolas. The gondolas have been given colors of squirrels and owls that live in the mountain, in order to preserve an aesthetic balance with the surrounding nature.

Morris Car
The distinctive design of the Morris Car makes it appear as if two gondolas are connected. It is the first mini-cable car using its current operating system. The journey lasts 1 minute and 40 seconds, as those on board enjoy the feeling of running through the forest.

Hiking
There is a rich variety of wildlife living in this untouched forest. There are hiking paths suitable for beginners, but as the night is cold, it is necessary to bring sufficient clothing. There is a resting area and changing rooms for hikers located on the ground floor of the summit station.
