Pyonpyonsya Morioka Ekimae

Pyonpyonsya is a Korean-style barbecue restaurant that also serves Morioka Reimen, a local specialty in Iwate Prefecture. Morioka Reimen is a rubbery, half-transparent noodle served in cold soup made from beef and chicken stock along with the toppings such as kimchi, boiled eggs, and cooked beef. In one bowl, all the sweetness, spiciness, and sourness create a perfect harmony. In Morioka, people usually order Korean-style barbecue and reimen together. On top of their tasty Morioka Reimen, Pyonpyonsya serves Korean-style barbecue, and other Korean dishes using the ingredients produced in Iwate Prefecture. They occupy the first floor through the third floor of the building. The open ceiling makes the place spacious. It is a good place both for a solo customer and groups.
