Inside the park, there is a place called Ikoino Hiroba which has a large field with a lawn, barbecue equipment and sports field. The place is filled with locals and tourists relaxing. Here, you can also find the biggest statue of Shisa in Okinawa, a perfect spot for a picture.

When Ryukyu kingdom ruled the islands of Okinawa, Taiki was a forerunner among traders who officially traded with China in 1373. He traveled to China five times. This was a time when many people died at sea. Praising his business skill and global outlook, his statue was built in his hometown as a "god of business."
